Warranty Policy and Refunds


All Scout Inflatable Boats come with a 2 year warranty.  This limited warranty does not include damage due to misuse abuse, negligence, improper or inadequate storage or to any Scout Inflatable Boat which is used in a manner contrary to directions or instruction indicated in the Scout Inflatables Owners manual.


If your inflatable boat is faulty when it arrives, please reach out to us immediately via the contact page, email, or phone. Please specify exactly what is the fault and we can issue a return item code with shipping instructions.  In some cases a replacement may be shipped to you and in some cases the fault may be repaired.


Terms and Conditions


We offer refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and on the terms set out in our Policy.


Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to consumer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


The Australian Consumer Law:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are also entitled to a refund or replacement for major failures with our products.

If a failure of our product does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the sales order and request a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure of our products.

We do offer replacements, repairs and refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

If the Australian Consumer Law applies, then we cannot avoid the Consumer Guarantees which it provides. If there is an inconsistency between this Policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.

Cancellation due to Change of Mind

In the event you receive the products purchased but simply change your mind, we may at our discretion offer you a refund provided that:

  1. You notify us within seven (7) days from receipt of goods
  2. Goods are unopened and in original packaging
  3. You have made contact with Scout Inflatables via email, contact page or phone indicating your change of mind
  4. You pay for the return fee to have the product shipped back to our warehouse in NSW

Products Damaged During Delivery

In the event that the product you ordered has been damaged during delivery:

We will arrange to repair or collect the damaged product and replace it with an equivalent product, or to refund it, provided that you have contacted us within the following time from the date of receipt of the product: 1 DAY (24 hours)

 Please contact us as soon as possible and include photos with a detailed description of the damage to the items in question.
